Duette® shades feature a unique honeycomb construction. The still layer in the cell acts as an insulating blanket, making Duette® shades highly energy efficient. Duette® shades are available in a wide assortment of beautiful fabrics, rich structures and colours in three transparencies. They give windows of various shapes a beautiful pleat pattern. There are three pleat widths available, each best suited for a specific window size.
Our Duette® shades feature child-safe systems including SmartCord®, LiteRise®, motorised systems, chain tensioner and cord cleat. Safe for children and pets.

Highly versatile, Duette® Shades are available in hundreds of colours and a wide variety of semi-opaque and opaque fabrics.

The 3 air layers in Architella® result in an even higher insulation value. This characteristic is ideally suited to current environmental awareness. Beautifully diffuse light enters the room through the honeycomb shades, providing a unique combination: energy-saving window coverings that add atmosphere to the home.
Wide assortment of options
Duette® Shades are available in a wide assortment of beautiful fabrics and rich structures, in three levels of transparency. This enables precise light control and privacy. They give a beautiful pleat pattern to windows of all shapes and sizes. The wide range of colours lets you create the atmosphere you want in your living room, kitchen, or bedroom. Duette® Shades do not have visible pull-cord holes, providing a beautiful, uniform appearance. They can be operated manually or motorised. For example, LiteRise for 64 mm Duette®: cordless and easy to operate by pulling the bottom rail.

Top-down / bottom-up
The ultimate in versatility, Top-Down/Bottom-Up Duette® shades from Luxaflex® offer you the ability to operate shades from the top down, the bottom up, or in combination of the two. Quite literally the best of both worlds—natural light and privacy all in one.
Tilt and turn window
Our Side-Guided option fixes your Duette® shade onto the window frame, holding it in place and eliminating any light leakage along the outside edges.
Sloping roof windows
Duette® shades are particularly suited to cover sloped windows and conservatories.
Easiest and safest way to operate
Eliminate pull cords altogether with the unique LiteRise® system. This cordless push up, pull down system raises and lowers the product with the touch of a finger. LiteRise® helps reduce potential hazards, while also offering more user comfort and a streamlined appearance.
Free hanging
Standard Duette® shades are available in three fabric opacities for precise light control and privacy. There are no visible lift cords for a clean, dressed look. Choose from a wide variety of semi-opaque and opaque fabrics, as well as hundreds of colours.
Day and night
Duette® shades are available in a unique Two In One setup which allows you to combine two contrasting Duette® fabrics or even a Duette® with a Plissé fabric. Two different transparencies in one window with endless possibilities when it comes to your own, personal approach to colour co-ordination.

Window shades
Duette® shades are soft, durable and designed to cover almost any window shape, from Vertical windows (0º), tilted windows (to 15º) and ceiling and conservatory windows (to 90º).
Duette® shades also offer the ideal solution for unique positions like a dormer window, glass wall or conservatory roof blind.
UV protection
Duette® shades protect you, your furniture, wooden floors and valuable objects against damaging ultraviolet radiation.
Insulation
The insulating properties of Duette® shades make them perfectly suitable for use in conservatories. The air layer in the cell works like an insulating blanket and keeps out the summer heat and the winter cold much better than comparable single-layer fabrics. The double-layer structure of Duette® shades is energy-conserving, therefore money-saving, and that makes them good for the environment!
Privacy
Duette® shades also offer privacy. The desired position of the shades and the level of the amount of light can be easily controlled. With 7 different ways a duette® shade can be stacked, this blind is ideal for overlooked rooms or for privacy.
Day – night blinds
Duette® shades allow you to choose one of the many blackout fabrics and then combine it with a sheer fabric from our Plissé collection to create the ultimate in privacy.
Duette® Shades technical
SmartCord® system
It features a retractable pull cord that maintains a constant length, allowing the user to effortlessly raise and lower the shade.
The SmartCord® system will automatically lower the blind to the preferred position after one simple pull of the cord.
Motorisation
A wide variety of Luxaflex® products are offered with Motorised options that allow the shades to be operated at the touch of a button.
The remote control operation or wall switch eliminates operating cords for enhanced child safety and user comfort.
Tensioned models
These systems are designed to fit neatly into the frame of your windows, doors and skylights and eliminate the need for free hanging cord loops.
